Although Software Updater said it "failed" to apply the updates,
nevertheless when I run it again, no security updates are now listed as
available. And Synaptic confirms that openjdk packages are now at 8u121
(the updated version). So presumably it was some post-update procesing
that failed. I wish it was clearer, as I don't like not knowing if
everything is OK.
