Public bug reported:
Using lp:ubuntu-ui-tollkit/staging with unity8
(8.15+16.04.20170124-0ubuntu1) when we right click search bar from
unity8-dash no context menu is displayed. Checking unity8-dash logs
there is this entry:

Cannot read property 'activeFocusItem' of null
Code validates if typecof window is defined but dos not check if window
is null which seems to be the case.
