Looking at the following logs part :
Title: package desktop-base (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: cannot
copy extracted data for './usr/share/plymouth/themes/spacefun/rocket3.png' to
'/usr/share/plymouth/themes/spacefun/rocket3.png.dpkg-new': unexpected end of
file or stream
it looks like a corrupted installation media.
I’m closing it for now, feel free to open a new bug if you can reproduce the
problem with a different installation media (different usb key, dvd…).
