I have the latest apt-transport-https package:
$ dpkg -l apt-transport-https | grep '^ii'

But, I'm still getting an error while installing ttf-mscorefonts-
installer.
$ sudo apt clean
$ sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer
...
