Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I saw the related question (https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/csound/+question/446666) and also wonder which version you are trying to install. Fwiw, I tried to install csound on an Ubuntu 16.04 system, but I did not get any error messages like this. Could you please run the following command in a terminal (it will automatically gather debugging information): apport-collect 1659127 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Changed in: csound (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Tags added: xenial -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1659127 Title: csound is in conflict with ITSELF (package in synaptic) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/csound/+bug/1659127/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
