Also affects me. I am using: Operating System: Ubuntu 16.10 Kernel: Linux 4.8.0-34-generic Dell XPS 15 9550
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If I play with the alsa mixer settings and pavucontrol I can get it to work. I've noticed that putting the computer to sleep sometimes allows it to detect headphones for a bit, but doing things like upgrades resets it. I can't quite figure out what works cause sometimes just restarting it makes it work suddenly. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1606144 Title: [Precision 5510, Realtek ALC3266, Black Headphone Out, Left] No sound at all To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1606144/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
