I am willing to help but the above comments are a little bit confused. So did I understood it correctly that wee need to reverse bisect (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/KernelBisection#How_do_I_reverse_bisect_the_upstream_kernel.3F) from kernel version 4.4.0-28-generic to 4.7-rc7 ?
