Public bug reported:
Hello !
I'm using Gutsy (last beta) and I was in the process of upgrading to RC.
I have a FAT FS located on the same SATA drive than my / and /home.
There is also an NTFS with XP on it.
After boot time, I log as my regular user, then see the trash applet
showing that I trashed something. I go on and empty the trash, but I
clicked to fast and the whole content of the FAT partition is gone
(~90Gb). Why the content of this partition went in the trash bin, I
don't know, but it's quite annoying ...
I'm ready to give any info you need just after I finish the recovery ...
(I'll also check if the problem still occurs after upgrade to RC)
Regards,
Benoit
