Public bug reported:
There are a couple bugs in 1.4.0 which impact using the key cache.
The cache can be necessary, for example I backup DVDs with ddrescue, and save
the keys via libdvdcss with the disc in the drive (which guarantees getting the
keys). Later if the keys are not available then libdvdcss must fall back to
cracking and if that fails the backup image is useless. The bugs are fixed
upstream as of
