Public bug reported:
After installing Feisty on a Toshiba Tecra A9, the graphics controller
is not recognized and the graphical interface does not come up. Instead,
the curses interface on blue background displays the error encountered.
So, since the graphics controller is an nVidia, I tried installing the
nvidia-glx package and changing xorg.conf to use the nvidia driver
instead of nv. However, the same problem still occurs.
So, I tried dist-upgrading with feisty-updates and feisty-backports in
my sources.list, but the new kernel doesn't reboot as stated in another
bug.
