Public bug reported:
After installing Feisty on a Toshiba Satellite A200, the graphics
controller is not recognized and the graphical interface does not come
up. Instead, the curses interface on blue background displays the error
encountered.
So, since the graphics controller is an ATI, I tried changing xorg.conf
to use the ati manually. However, the same problem still occurs.
So, I then tried changing xorg.conf to use the vesa driver manuall.
Still the same problem.
So, I tried dist-upgrading with feisty-updates and feisty-backports in
my sources.list. Still the same problem.
