Public bug reported:
I downloaded the Gutsy beta and burned it to a disc. Checked the CD for
defects and it's fine.
It's after the orange loading part that the screen blacks out. There
would normally be a login menu but nothing happens.
My guess is that this has something to do with my graphics card since it
also happens when I boot from an official Feisty live disc. I'm using a
Nvidia Geforce 5200.
I'll obviously have to provide more information, but I don't exactly
know where to begin. I already have a working installation of Feisty,
but I'd like to try and help out people who may be scared away from
Ubuntu by this sort of situation.
