Hello, there's an option to log in automatically. To check if this is enabled, could you open "User accounts" in the Dash and see Automatic login is enabled for your user? (I reverse translated the names, so they might differ slightly) Most likely it is enabled from when the account was password-less, but if you disable it, the password should be required the next time you try to log in.
