Public bug reported: When I run displayconfig-gtk, about a third of the time when switching resolutions and clicking the Test button, the mouse cursor will not be visible on the screen with the OK/Cancel that pops up to test. If I hit cancel to go back to the old resolution, the mouse cursor will still be gone. No matter what I do, logout, etc I can't get the cursor to come back, I have to reboot.
This happens while using the "nv" driver.
