Public bug reported:
It would be cool if Guvcview could remember the image control settings,
at least while the webcam is still the same. Every time I boot up the
computer I need to change several settings:
- Disable "Exposure, Auto Priority", as it drops the frames per second a lot.
- Set "Power Line Frequency" to "50 Hz", as otherwise the image flickers a lot.
- Lower the sharpness value. As otherwise the image is way too acute, and has
some noise.
I recommend that Guvcview, instead of changing settings directly to the
webcam, it stores a profile and loads it by default as long as the
chosen webcam is the same.
Thanks for your attention.
