Public bug reported:
Ubunut 7.10 (latest updates applied) on an IBM T40 thinkpad.
ACPI suspend (Fn + F4 (which is my sleep button)) works fine. Installed
tpb last night to give me OSD display when doing things like changing
the brightness on screen. When I attempted to suspend this morning the
system tried for quite some time, flashing the disk light, and then
immediately woke back up. I killed tpb, then suspend worked fine.
I suspect there may be some specific acpi work around needed for tpb as
it is trying to grab acpi events as well.
** Affects: tpb (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
