Solution from post #8 works partially for me : Asus R556UB, with Linux Mint 18
Thanks to it I do now have input sound from webcam mic and output sound from internal speakers. However I do not have output sound from external headphone. To be noted : when rebooting from Windows 10 (dual-boot) sound is lost.
