@brandon211: good to know that there is a workaround, however I think it
is not really a solution because the kernel you are currently running is
not the default one. I am also running Ubuntu 16.04.2 but with the
standard kernel 4.4.0-64-generic where this bug is still present.
Furthermore installing the hwe kernel is not for everyone the best
solution, especially for enterprises, so this bug should be fixed in the
non hwe kernel as well.
