Using a gnome-shell session, and login with lightdm
That issue is widely met with gnome > 3.22; usely happen one time after the
session is opened (cant see evidence of a race).
Journalctl has logged:
Seat type 'xlocal' is deprecated, use 'type=local' instead
systemd[1]: session-c1.scope: Killing process 2205 (lightdm) with signal
SIGTERM.
systemd[1]: session-c1.scope: Killing process 2360 (lightdm-greeter) with
signal SIGTERM.
