Try this on your X11 desktop (have mir-platform-graphics-mesa-x9
installed):
QT_QPA_PLATFORM=mirserver qmlscene simple.qml
with a simple QML file.
You should get a window appearing with the QML file being displayed.
Instead get a crash with:
terminate called after throwing an instance of
'boost::exception_detail::clone_impl<boost::exception_detail::error_info_injector<std::system_error>
