Hello, I just tried on knot2 and have the same issue again, this is definitly related to the way the kernel is handling the SATA drive since i get a kernel panic with plenty of symbols linked to : scsci_error_handler.
It is a laptop I've been trying to install since April for a user in my workplace and Linux is quite looking bad since i always get that marvellous sentence : "Under Windows, everything works!". Any suggestions ? Cheers, Steph -- kernel panic on IRQ allocation https://launchpad.net/bugs/37862 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
