Public bug reported:
nautilus launched from Unity8 opens a 'Desktop' window. It needs to be
run with --no-desktop to avoid that.
Although this issue is confused by two other bugs:
* Unity8 incorrectly chooses Xmir -> bug 1672931 ; and
* When using Xmir the desktop window is transparent -> bug 1672949
These are three separate bugs.
