Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

Compaq Presario 2136EA Laptop.

Using Fn+PgUp/PgDn I can control the volume level of my laptop speaker, and an
animation come up on the screen showing a sliding bar. (Using Compiz)

Everything worked fine in Feisty, but with Gutsy RC updated, animation
come up but sliding bar doesn't work or work very bad. I can't know
which is the Volume level.

Due to this kind of shortcut keys are present in all laptop (and also a
lot of keyboard have a specific button to control Volume) and are
usually used a lot in my opinion, I think it's a really bad thing in
terms of usability.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
