I have the same problems: -External speakers work and headphones connected to 3.5mm jack works fine. - Internal speakers work for a few seconds after boot and then stops alsamixer and pulse audio shows that sound is comming but no sound from speakers. -Had the same trouble with 14.04 LTS..expected 16.04 to address the issue no Luck
