When I put a not-rewritable DVD, ubuntu doesn't mount it automatically.
However if you mount it manually it just works (with this log, in
Spanish sorry):
sudo mount /dev/dvd /media/cdrom0/
mount: dispositivo de bloques /dev/scd0 está protegido contra escritura; se
monta como sólo lectura
