Public bug reported: Debian has been discussing the name change of the package "Terminix" to "Tilix" due to perceived trademark issues.
http://www.mail-archive.com/debian- [email protected]/msg102501.html Debian has uploaded to unstable a new version with the renamed package + transitional package https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/tilix_1.5.4-1.html I suppose one of the key issues for Ubuntu to consider is if it should similarly consider this issue. Zesty has v1.4.2 of terminix and these changelog between the v1.4.2 and "Tilis" v1.5.4 will require a FFe. Ubuntu Budgie does integrate terminix with its distro - the change to Ubuntu Budgie is tiny - a small update to budgie-desktop-environment to change the ID used to identify the terminal name. I don't believe there are any other community flavours with any integration issues here.
