Public bug reported: I installed the parallel version of hdf5 (libhdf5-openmpi-dev) under trusty. I cannot find the wrapper command h5pcc for compiling hdf5 c files. No such file seems to exist in trusty, but it exists in newer Ubuntu releases: http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?suite=trusty&arch=any&mode=filename&searchon=contents&keywords=h5pcc
A similar bug report was filed for Debian, and eventually solved: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=648537 It would be nice to have the h5pcc file under trusty. ** Affects: hdf5 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: openmpi trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1675366 Title: h5pcc command is missing in libhdf5-openmpi-dev under trusty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hdf5/+bug/1675366/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
