I think we've probably missed the boat on upstart removal for Zesty now. Does anyone have a clear picture of what's left to do? xnox was working on this for the whole distro but maybe there's a board/card/something for the u8 sessions?
Could probably still do some opportunistically, but personally I wouldn't sweat getting it off now & would wait for next cycle. There's an opportunity for relatively subtle bugs like environment variables being wrong that might go undetected for a while. Maybe there's some low hanging fruit? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1675168 Title: [FFe] Using systemd user units instead of upstart jobs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1675168/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
