I'm having significant problems with LibreOffice Write with kernel 4.4.0-66, but not with 64. The program won't allow text to be highlighted and locks up one core of my CPU. A graceful shutdown of Write is not allowed and even Ubuntu won't shut down without a manual switch off.
Am also having problems with iPhone tethering stability lately, but they show up in kernel 64 and even 57, so they may be unrelated to these 66 kernel problems. Like the OP my system is an Asus, laptop quad-core. PLMK whether more info is needed to help fix this. Otherwise I'll do the next kernel upgrade and check for improvements. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1672224 Title: Upgrade to kernel version 4.4.0-66 of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS caused major chaos/failures To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1672224/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
