in daemon.conf , set resample-method to soxr-vhq

resample-method = soxr-vhq
;soxr-mq,soxr-hq, soxr-vhq.
;resample-method = speex-float-10
;resample-method = copy


restart pulseaudio, then launch VLC with MP3 file @ 44.1KHz

Output of pulseaudio log :

So why soxr library is not compiled in ?
