I've bough a new USB mp3 player/recorder that has a mass storage
interface. When plugging it into a computer running latest Gutsy Gibon
(with the above mentioned kernel), Ubuntu fails to mount the disk.
In the syslog I have the following messages:

I will attach a detailed HAL information dump shortly.
When attaching the same device to a Windows XP computer it mounts
correctly, albeit it takes it considerably longer then I would have
expected.
