Calc appears to hang with any CSV file on my system. I created a CSV file containing a single line as follows:
"one", "two", "three" When I attempted to open it, Calc hung and I had to force it to quit. Some more interesting behavior occurred when I attempted to open an empty CSV file. In this case, Calc first put up the "Filter Selection" dialog. When I selected "Text CSV" and clicked "OK", Calc hung as before. The interesting part is that when I looked at the empty file it was full of binary data. The "file" utility reports it to be a "Microsoft Office Document". -- OpenOffice.org Calc crashes with certain .xls/.csv files, Draw does not open at all (Ubuntu 7.10 beta) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/148562 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
