Hi Brian, The command you gave me increased /boot size to few MB (90.5 to be exact). But the upgrade got stuck again with similar error of higher MB#! Please refer to attached image.
Would I be better off reformatting my C:\ drive and install new Ubuntu from USB? My laptop is fairly old with a 40GB size and I don't have much to lose on C:\ drive....But since I am new to Ubuntu would not want to give up (like Windows ;-) Thank you for your time and help. ~Kam ** Attachment added: "New error of 133MB.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1674346/+attachment/4849735/+files/New%20error%20of%20133MB.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1674346 Title: Strange boot folder size error during upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1674346/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
