IBM T23. Realtek 8180 wireless card.
Full clean installation of Ubuntu 7.10 rc alternate CD downloaded 15/10/2007.
I can reproduce at will. If my wireless network is open I can connect no
problem.
When I add any security; WEP or WPA, the system freezes and I need to hard
reboot.
This occurs when I attempt to make a connection through the Network Manager. I
enter my security credentials, hit the connect button and after a few seconds
the system becomes totally unresponsive.
Can I provide you with any diagnostic information? If so, what?
