Having installed munin-plugins-core, a LAMP stack and the other packages
to run a Munin node I have discovered that the mysql_ plugin will not
run as a library file it requires is missing.
The plugin is installed at /usr/share/munin/plugins/mysql_ and to demonstrate
the problem, after installing the munin-plugins-core package you can execute:
$ /usr/share/munin/plugins/mysql_ suggest
Missing dependency Cache::Cache at /usr/share/munin/plugins/mysql_ line 728.
This clearly shows the Cache::Cache perl library is missing. This library can
be found in the libcache-cache-perl package. Once the package is installed the
plugin will work correctly and instead output:
$ /usr/share/munin/plugins/mysql_ suggest
bin_relay_log

files_tables
innodb_bpool
innodb_bpool_act
innodb_insert_buf
innodb_io
innodb_io_pend

This also allows it to work with munin-node-configure --suggest --shell
to provide auto configuration prompts.
I am presently running Ubuntu 16.04.2 and believe the packages on the system
are up to date, at least within a couple of weeks.
I believe that updating the munin-plugins-core package to include a
dependency on the libcache-cache-perl package will resolve this problem.
