Clicking on the indicator opens up the forecast, which includes morning,
afternoon, evening, night, at least on mine. Is that so hard? Indicator
is SUPPOSED to show current conditions.. in case you live in a basement
with no windows, I suppose. It would be called forecast-indicator if it
showed future conditions!

FOR OTHERS SEARCHING FOR A PARTICULAR PROBLEM I RAN INTO with this:
Just installed latest version (in a nicely packaged .deb file ) from Zesty into
Xenial (Xubuntu 16.04) which solves the problems with the indicator message
"Met.no LocationforecastLTS API states that this version of the webservice is
deprecated, and the plugin needs to be adapted "
Why I didn't find the answer anywhere else on forums, I have no idea. People
are looking to install the latest version and cannot.
You'll have to head to http://packages.ubuntu.com/zesty/xfce4-weather-plugin
(available currently 5/2/2017) and select your package type then a mirror
download. Then open with Gdebi package manager (or similar) It will warn you an
older, stable version is available. Install anyway.
I spent an HOUR trying to install from some tar.bz file that didn't have .deb
in it before finding this.
Yes, I confirm the Zesty package works fine on LTS 16.04 Xubuntu.
