The driver should work just fine, you only need correct firmware. IIUC, due to license issues, Broadcom Bluetooth firmware is not in linux-firmware. You need to extract firmware from Windows driver yourself, then convert the firmware from HEX to HCD.
A quick google shows that someone already did all the works [1], but I don't know if it's legal or not, so use it on your own discretion.
