Public bug reported:

Further to lp:#1323734, Ubuntu Gnome 17.04 ships Firefox 52, but this
does not support Gnome Shell Integration, which means adding extensions
fails to run.

I am able to toggle and uninstall Gnome Shell Extensions, but I can't
install new ones in either browser.
