Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: strigi-applet

I have noticed that the Ctrl+1 hotkey, used to trigger the Strigi
desktop search in Kubuntu, conflicts with the same hotkey which I have
been using in my application, the blog manager QTM
(qtm.blogistan.co.uk), since 16th March 2006. I use Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+5 to
control which page in a Qt widget-stack to display.

Apart from the blocking of the Ctrl+1 shortcut in QTM, its effect in
Strigi is not immediately obvious - rather than launching a dialog, it
merely displays a text field next to the system tray icon. It is
therefore not obvious to anyone using QTM, or another application in
which Ctrl+1 was already being used, why it was not working anymore.

** Affects: strigiapplet (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
