Did another attempt at this today (hey, it's Gutsy day!) and after a painful wait for 650+ megs of debs to be downloaded the upgrade seg faults as usual. I used dpkg -i to install the failing package (app- install-data), succeded. Made another dist-upgrade but in vain. This time it was dpkg who failed, same procedure, dpkg -i /var/cache/apt/dpkg... and a new dist-upgrade and it seems that this will work, it hasn't stopped yet.
