Public bug reported:
Environment:
Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS
nvidia-375
I have a laptop screen with resolution 3840x2160 and external display with
resolution 3440x1440.
I am scaling laptop display to resolution 1920x1080 with
command nvidia-settings --attach CurrentMetaMode="DPY-0: nvidia-auto-select
@3440x1440 +1920+0 {ViewPortIn=3440x1440, ViewPortOut=3440x1440+0+0}, DPY-3:
nvidia-auto-select @1920x1080 +0+0 {ViewPortIn=1920x1080,
ViewPortOut=3840x2160+0+0}"
Bug: Display manager is not detecting scaled resolution correctly. Please see
the attachment.
Caused effect: When focus is on laptop display and pressing Alt + Tab the
application switcher is not shown in center of laptop display but partly in
external display.
