I'm currently using after resume from suspend:

kill $(ps -eo pid,comm | grep "compiz" | grep -v grep |  awk '{print
$1}')

which restarts compiz and restores normal window borders to all desktop
screens and application windows.

Issue is still in my system, where the Nivida driver just got normal
update to version 378.13, which still has the exact same issue.

BTW: how did you update your Nvidia to 381.09 (which seems to fix the
issue)..?
