3) What you expected to happen
When connecting to a server that fails the authenticity check, this is
presented:
The SSL certificate for the server SERVERNAME (port PORTNAME) failed the
authenticity check
Then, a dialog is presented to see if the user wants to store this
certificate just for this session or forever. If the user selects
forever, the dialog should not appear again when connecting another
time.
4) What happened instead
After selecting forever, the dialog still keeps appearing every time.
Workaround:
It seems that kleopatra is needed for konversation to manage
certificates, but it's not being installed by the package manager. The
problem is solved by installing it manually with:
sudo apt-get install kleopatra
This package should be added to the dependencies.
