this won't be fixed (at least in network-manager 0.6). network-manager
is just not ready for any kind of server operations. though you can use
ssh, you should do upgrades in a screen or something if you want to
eventually do it anyway.
Once you have network-manager 0.7 and still see this, please either
reopen this bug or simply post a new one.
