Public bug reported: Impact ------ gnome-photos 3.24.1 is a bugfix release in the stable 3.24 series.
This app is included in Ubuntu GNOME and Ubuntu Budgie. It includes a fix for changing the aspect ratio when cropping. Also, the app stopped using a deprecated API so that the Flatpak version would work better. https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-photos/tree/NEWS?h=gnome-3-24 https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-photos/log/?h=gnome-3-24 Test Case --------- Install the update. Run the Photos app. Crop a photo. Before finalizing the crop, change the aspect ratio. Does the resulting image look right? Also make sure the Help button works correctly after the deprecated API removal. Regression Potential -------------------- The biggest change here is the deprecated API removal but it looks reasonable. ** Affects: gnome-photos (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Status: In Progress ** Tags: upgrade-software-version zesty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1682143 Title: Update gnome-photos to 3.24.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-photos/+bug/1682143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
