Public bug reported: I have two Optiquest Q71 monitors, and oddly enough, viewsonic makes a Optiquest Q71(though that is a different monitor than what I have)
For reference, here are pictures to both monitors: http://reviews.cnet.com/crt-monitors/viewsonic-optiquest-q71-display/4505-3175_7-30674460.html and http://www.cwol.com/monitors/optiquest/q71.htm anyway, the display applet auto detects my monitors as viewsonic optiquest q71, and thus wrongfully sets the refresh rate and screen resolution. I'm not sure what other information to provide to help fix this bug, if theres any commands I need to run, and paste here, please let me know, thanks. ** Affects: displayconfig-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- detects wrong monitor for optiquest q71 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/153972 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
