Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

the drop-down list for the selection of languages shows always all (ALL!!)
languages that openoffice could handle. this is very inconvenient - most people
use only a very few subset of these languages (2...5?).
i think in most places the selection should be limited to the languages
installed in openoffice and only in the "options - languages" a list with all
languages from which the used ones can be selected.

it seems (inconsistently) that in some cases only languages for which a
spelling dictionary are presented (e.g. in the spelling dialog) - but
there again are shown all different options (e.g. French - Canadian,
Belgium, French; same for German...)

** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
