Public bug reported:
After upgrading to zesty I can no longer logout cleanly. Shutdown works
as expected however. If I go to the virtual terminal and restart
lightdm, I fail to login afterwards. The only way I can login after that
is by restarting the machine. Login/Logout via virtual terminal is not
affected, only logout via the Unity GUI.
