Public bug reported:
In Kubuntu 17.04. my touchpad (Lenovo ideapad 500S-13ISK) is recognized
as "AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint".
All clicks are recognized. Two finger scrolling is working, but the mouse
pointer is only moving vertically not horizontally.
I tried several boot options (i8042.nomux, i8042.reset) but nothing changed the
behavior.
I figured out it occurs the same behavior (no horizontal mouse pointer
movement) not only after update from Kubuntu 16.10, but also in the Live
version when starting kubuntu / ubuntu 17.04.
