Hi,

come from:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1682427

cause Launchpad told me that 1682427 is a duplicate of 1674838.

I've see the same behavior with Thunderbird. See Bug Description of
1682427. But I think that is coincidence. The problem seems to be more
general. I have no I idea at the moment but can give you the dmesg
output of my system. See the attached file.

I have been using Ubuntu for a year on this system. First with 16.4,
then 16.10 and since some days 17.4.

Before 17.4. I never have seen such a problem. The system was stable.
It's a skylake system with a 6700K CPU. I had updated my board to BIOS
version 2003 half a year ago. But as I said, I could not observe the
error before Zesty.

I'm curious now what's going on here.

Regards
Oliver
